About the time of the reconciliation of the two contending Grand Lodges in England, in 1813, they were called, by way of distinction, after their Grand Masters. That of the [[En:Moderns|Moderns]] was called the ''Prince of Wales Grated Lodge'', and that of the [[En:Antients|Antients]] the ''Duke of Kent's Grand Lodge''. That of the Moderns was called the Prince of Wales Grated Lodge, and that of the Antients the Duke of Kent's Grand Lodge. The titles were used colloquially, and not officially.
