  This pitcher was a personal presentation to Past Master Fritz T. Jeannot who served as Worshipful Master from 1885-1886.

  Sunderland Lustre Pitchers are the most beautiful of all English pottery! Their pink and gold fisheye decor highlights the black Masonic transfers and poems.

• 

  They were made for export and sold to Lodges as water pitchers.

• 

  This salad plate, cup and mug combination are from Sunderland Lustre Ware in England. They bear many of the early symbols of Freemasonry and the Motto frequently used within the Fraternity "SIT LUX ET LUX FUIT" and also sometimes written, Lux fiat et Lux fit, signifying Let there be light, and there was light (Genesis i, 3).

  The strict translation from the Hebrew continues, "And the Lord took care of the light, that it was useful, and He divided the light from the darkness."

  Pearlware Sunderland Pitcher (circa: 1826) Very finely decorated in polychrome over glaze enamels with Masonic devices and symbols. Inscribed: W.M. (Worshipful Master) Dated 1826

  This beautiful Masonic Pitcher and Mug Set was made in Germany and depicts the Square and Compasses in the Fellowcraft position with "Sprigs of Acacia" in the background.

  It was made for an "A.F.& A.M." or "Ancient Free and Accepted Mason" Lodge.

• 

  This green jasper mug with the Masonic Square and Compasses and the Letter "G" was German made by Schafer and Vater Co. in the early 1900's. It is wonderful mug and was probably mass produced so other ones are out there!

  These cups still have their original dragon handles (many get broken over time). These cups depict the Star of David of Shield of David (Two opposing equilateral triangles) with the Letter "G".

  This Masonic Mug was made in 1913 for Coatesville Lodge No. 564 F.& A.M. by the Thomas Maddock's Son's Co., of Trenton, N.J. which is printed on the bottom.

  This is a mint condition vintage Baltic Lodge Craftsman's Club mug with the Lodge name, the Masonic Square and Compasses and the date January 30, 1915 on the front.

  Made in Staffordshire, England, this large Masonic pitcher was presented to John and Ann Milnes, of Milnrow, England in appreciation of service rendered to his Lodge No. 140, and is dated 1816.

  Masonic emblems showing heralds; the All Seeing Eye, the Sun, Moon and Stars, the dove of peace, Noah's ark, the two pillars Boaz and Jachin, Altar and Holy Bible, crossed swords, Boaz and Jachin, the Three Lesser Lights, and Jacob's Ladder.

This one has a couple of Masonic poems: (1) "The world is in pain, our secrets to gain, But still let them wonder and gaze on, They ne'er (never) can divine, The word nor the sign, Of a Free 'an Accepted Mason." (2) "Let Masonry from pole to pole, Her sacred laws expand, Far as the mighty waters roll, To wash remotest land; That virtue has not left mankind, Her social maxims prove, For stamp'd upon the Masons mind, are unity and love.

This Cornish Ware was risen from the Parish of St Stephens from the hands of the Right Hon Visct Falmouth, occupied by Mess Warick & Co, China Merchants, Plymouth

EXPLANATION:

Exhibited on the night of August 12 in honour of His Royal Highness, Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, by illuminations on a large scale transparent painting on Emblematical representation of the Prince Wales Dukedom as in this device where you see Britannia with the motto One & All underneath signifying the Loyalty of the County of Cornwall, the jovial Miner drinking success to our Duke, Stannaries, Tin, Fish and Copper , the Plume of Feathers, Masonic signs Emblematical of Free Masonry, of which his Royal Highness is Grand Master; a ship lying off the Lizard Expressive of Trade, Commerce &c, Cornish Arms, viz Gold on Sable and everything appertaining to the Duchy.
