The Lodge of Research is dedicated to the research of all aspects of Freemasonry. Its main task is to spread the Masonic Light among the brethren in S.M.C. and the Masonic brotherhood at large, and to support and conduct studies and research of origin, rituals, teachings, history, customs and traditions of Freemasonry. The preservation, protection and maintenance of the Masonic tradition is highly valued among the members of the Research Lodge. It also gives demonstration rituals of Masonic rites, historical as well as modern, for educational purposes, and the education of the brethrens of S.M.C. It is also responsible for the study and education material of the Swedish Masonic Camp.

Master Masons in the Swedish Masonic Camp that have fulfilled his obligations to his lodge can apply for membership in the LoR. Also Master Masons belonging to Grand Lodges recognised by the S.M.C. can obtain membership. There is a Correspondence Circle in association with the Lodge where you whose Masonic cable tow is too short can join and become a part of the work.

Under Articles and Papers you find material presented in and of the Research Lodge's members. New material is continuously added. Most material is unfortunately in Swedish; but those who desirers are welcome to contact the Master of the Lodge for an English summary of the articles.
